123 (or “Twelve Cubed”), the Order
of the Arrow’s production at the 2005 National Scout
Jamboree, is the successor to the highly-acclaimed shows that
the OA produced for the 1997 and 2001 Jamborees, Odyssey
of the Law and Scoutopia.
Odyssey was an audience-participation show that asked audience
members to vote for how youth should react in various ethical
dilemnas - taking the 12 points of the Scout Law into account
- and then showed them the results of their choices.
Scoutopia made the leap to the Scout Oath and took the audience
into a surrealistic experience in which they explored the
"DNA" of Duty - especially a scout's obligation
to others, to self, and to God and Country.
